Una mañana, Clara (Mireia Oriol), la hija adolescente de Mónica (Belén Rueda) desaparece en extrañas circunstancias. Horas más tarde es encontrada inconsciente, con vida pero condenada a una muerte inminente.
Mónica se niega a aceptar la irremediable pérdida de su hija y, arrastrada por la desesperación, participa en un oscuro ritual donde un misterioso hombre le propone un pacto para salvar la vida de Clara.
